A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old man in connection with a deadly home invasion in Brampton that left one person dead last year.
, who has no fixed address, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm following a shooting on August 19, 2025.
Officers have warned that he may be armed and dangerous.
According to investigators, two suspects allegedly entered a home on Bayhampton Drive, near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway, and opened fire on two people inside. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and later released.
Law enforcement had earlier taken into custody a first suspect in the case. In October, 24-year-old Dilpreet Singh of Brampton was charged with first-degree murder in relation to the same incident.
Investigators have now identified Manpreet Singh as the second suspect and obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant. He is described as five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, straight black hair, brown eyes and a full beard. Officials say he has a tattoo on his right forearm that reads “Manna Sukh” with a heart symbol between the two words.
Authorities have urged the public not to approach him if spotted: “officials say Singh may be armed and dangerous. If seen, call 911 immediately.”
